BARBERTON – In a stunning turn of events, alleged human trafficker Sibusiso Malwane, arrested for transporting 23 undocumented immigrants, has been granted bail, proudly attributing his success to the cutting-edge features of his “custom-made vehicle.”
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Monica Nyuswa, visibly bewildered by the vehicular ingenuity, confirmed the arrest on the R38, Barberton, on 13 November. The vehicle, described as a cross between a tour bus and a spaceship, apparently had amenities ranging from a heated pool to a built-in smoothie bar.
Malwane’s defence argued that the “custom-made vehicle” was merely an ambitious attempt at a mobile immigrant appreciation centre. The judge, amused by the audacity, granted bail, suggesting Malwane might consider entering the automotive industry.
The photo of Malwane leaving court showcases his newfound celebrity status, surrounded by fans who are reportedly seeking autographs on their own custom-made getaway vehicles. As legal proceedings unfold, the nation eagerly awaits the next evolution in criminal innovation, wondering if Malwane’s custom-made contraption will inspire the next wave of luxury prison breaks.
