Phoenix, AZ – In a hilarious attempt to cover up their shoddy construction practices, Taylor Morrison, a local homebuilder, recently tried to silence a brave home inspector who dared to expose shoddy workmanship.
Cy Porter, the man behind the popular “Sci-Fi Home Inspections” series, had the audacity to actually inspect Taylor Morrison homes and, shockingly, found a few gasp defects. He then had the nerve to share his findings with the world, via the internet.
Taylor Morrison, not amused by Porter’s honesty, filed a complaint against him, accusing him of various crimes, including “harassing” their fragile egos. They claimed his videos were “falsified” and “bullying,” which is hilarious considering the actual quality of their homes.
After a thorough investigation, the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration found no evidence to support Taylor Morrison’s ridiculous claims. In fact, they found that Porter’s videos were accurate and truthful, and that his actions were protected by law.
Taylor Morrison, clearly disappointed by this outcome, tried to salvage their reputation by claiming that Porter’s conduct was “troubling.” However, the public is not buying it. Many believe that Taylor Morrison’s actions were a desperate attempt to cover up their shoddy construction practices.
As a result of Taylor Morrison’s failed attempt to silence Porter, the public is now calling for the homebuilder to be investigated by the Arizona Corporation Commission. It seems that Taylor Morrison has only dug themselves a deeper hole with their unethical behavior.
